Stratasys J5 Medijet Polyjet 3D Printer
LPKF U4 ProtoLaser
Owned by Professor Kevin Chen and administered by the Rodgers Lab, this 355 nm, up to 6 W laser is capable of 25 to 300 kHz pulse rates and high-speed laser scanning for cutting or ablating a variety of metals and composite materials.
Universal PLS675 Laser Cutter
The PLS675 is a 75 Watt CO2 laser cutter and engraver. Paper, cardboard, wood laminate, and huge variety of plastics can be cut. Cast acrylic up to ¼” in thickness can be cut in a single pass with a reasonable kerf, while that and even ½” thicknesses can be cut with a well-controlled kerf by cutting in multiple passes. The etching software can also be used to pre-process images into dither patterns for engraving in wood, plastic and even anodized metals with excellent results.
