The J5 Medijet is ready for biocompatible applications, but don’t let that fool you. Under the hood this Stratasys polyjet printer is exactly the same as the J55 Prime. LPKF U4 ProtoLaser

Owned by Professor Kevin Chen and administered by the Rodgers Lab, this 355 nm, up to 6 W laser is capable of 25 to 300 kHz pulse rates and high-speed laser scanning for cutting or ablating a variety of metals and composite materials.

Universal PLS675 Laser Cutter

The PLS675 is a 75 Watt CO2 laser cutter and engraver. Paper, cardboard, wood laminate, and huge variety of plastics can be cut. Cast acrylic up to ¼” in thickness can be cut in a single pass with a reasonable kerf, while that and even ½” thicknesses can be cut with a well-controlled kerf by cutting in multiple passes. The etching software can also be used to pre-process images into dither patterns for engraving in wood, plastic and even anodized metals with excellent results.
