What is Rodgers?

The T.J. Rodgers RLE Laboratory is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge and innovation in all areas of RLE. This includes research on electronics, photonics, packaging, and more. Our lab thrives on connections between students, faculty, and outside sources to foster an environment of learning and technological advancement.

What is RLE?

RLE (Research Laboratory of Electronics) is a modern interdepartmental research center located at MIT. It is the first, and one of MIT’s largest, organizations of this kind. Research at RLE focus’s on a range themes including Atomic Physics, Information Science, Quantum Computation, and more.

The T.J. Rodgers Laboratory prides itself on research, education, and outreach. We offer various tools and machines to enable students and faculty to engage in innovative research in a number of areas. We also host a number of forums featuring some of the worlds leading companies. Additionally, researchers at our lab engage in the development of educational programs available for dedicated learners of all ages. Here at the T.J. Rodgers RLE Laboratory, we are constantly pursuing improvement and the distribution of engineering best practices.
